How do I care for my silk saree?
Silk sarees (Banarasi, Kanchipuram, Uppada, Venkatagiri) should be dry-cleaned or hand-washed in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid wringing — gently press out water and dry in shade. Store wrapped in a soft muslin cloth, away from direct sunlight.
How do I care for cotton and linen sarees?
Cotton (Mangalagiri, Narayanpet) and linen sarees can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle in cold water. Use a mild detergent and dry in shade to preserve colour. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for best results.
How do I care for Kalamkari and printed sarees?
Hand-wash separately in cold water for the first few washes to prevent colour bleeding. Use a gentle, colour-safe detergent. Avoid soaking for long periods. Dry in shade and iron on reverse side to protect the print.
What is the difference between Pure Sico and Semi Sico?
Pure Sico (Silk-Cotton) is woven with pure silk warp and pure cotton weft, giving it a lustrous yet breathable drape — ideal for daily wear and festive occasions. Semi Sico uses a blend where one or both components may include synthetic fibres, making it more affordable while retaining a similar look. Pure Sico is softer, more durable, and holds colour better over time.
How do I choose the right fabric for my occasion?

Sizing & Fit
What is the standard saree length?
Most sarees in our collection are 5.5 metres in length, which is the standard for most draping styles. Some sarees come with an additional blouse piece (typically 0.8–1 metre). The product listing will clearly mention the total length and whether a blouse piece is included.
How do I measure for a blouse piece?
A standard blouse piece of 0.8–1 metre is sufficient for most blouse styles. If you need a full-sleeve or heavily embellished blouse, we recommend 1–1.2 metres. Please check the individual product listing for blouse piece details. For custom blouse stitching, consult your local tailor with your bust, waist, and shoulder measurements.
Do you offer custom orders or blouse piece matching?
We currently do not offer custom stitching. However, many of our sarees include a matching blouse piece. If you need a specific blouse piece to match a saree, please contact us at vslcollectionsinc@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently ship across India only. International shipping is not available at this time. We are working on expanding our reach — stay tuned!
How long does delivery take?
Orders are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. Delivery timelines after dispatch:
- Metro cities: 3–5 business days
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 5–8 business days
- Remote areas: 8–12 business days
You will receive a tracking link via email/SMS once your order is dispatched.
Is shipping free?
Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders within India.
How do I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also log in to your account on our website and view your order status under My Orders.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on eligibility, timelines, and the return process. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with tags intact.
How do I initiate a return or exchange?
To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at support@vslcollections.com within the return window mentioned in our policy, with your order number and reason for return. Our team will guide you through the next steps.
Are there any items that cannot be returned?
Sarees that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return. Please check the product listing carefully before placing your order, as colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and photography lighting.
Ordering & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods including UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and popular wallets. All transactions are secured and encrypted.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can be modified or cancelled within a short window after placement, before they are dispatched. Please contact us immediately at vslcollectionsinc@gmail.com with your order number. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes, you will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order. If you do not see it, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us.
